Entrepreneurship may be what you want instead of a career . Or maybe starting your own business is what you want to began as soon as possible, even as you start your new career. Many people have what it takes to become a business owner but they just never entertain the thought to go that route. Other people simply dismiss the thought assuming that they don’t have what it takes to become a business owner. After all entrepreneurship is for people willing to take huge risk. You must have thick skin, good work ethic and discipline to be an entrepreneur.

Most of all you should love people and love to deal with people. Despite what many think, being self employed is actually harder work than working a traditional 9 to 5, in most cases especially in the first few years. Does this sound like you? Is this the journey your ready to embark upon? If you find yourself full of ideas, solutions to problems, and seeing alternate ways of how things can be done, you probably have the creativity and vision useful for making a current business more successful or for developing a business of your own addressing the needs of other businesses or people.

They Dont include a cover letter (Even when the employer has asked for one)If the employer asks for a cover letter, write one. End. Of. Story. Your cover letter not only gives you the opportunity to instantly grab the employers attention but it also gives them a good sense of your writing style, but it also shows that you care about getting the position and can follow directions.

You can have the most impressive c.v/resume even seen but your probably not going to get an interview if you dont include a cover letter.Also note, keep your cover letter short, to the point and make sure you write a new one for each role you apply for and dont just use the same one.

Inspirational True Story Of Success

Tweet I come across this story the other day and thought it was a really powerful story for anybody in all walks of life and it has a fantastic message behind it. There was a man names Eric who had everything in abundance, he had the millionaire lifestyle, big house with a swimming pool, acres of land for a garden, fast cars and all the flash clothing. He had made it. Only Eric lost sight of where it all began and how he actually made it there. Eric made his money through studying and researching the property market none stop for hours and hours and days, weeks, months and years.

He developed a huge amount of knowledge in his field which enabled him to make snap shot decisions that could make him huge profits at anyone time. His greatest gift was his knowledge. His next door neighbour Mick was an older fellow, in his late 60s and saw Eric as a younger version of himself in a way but due to his experience in life and business he could foresee the pitfalls that Eric had yet to experience.

You dont have to wear something as formal as a tuxedo, but its important do do so if youre just giving someone your resume. You will get a bad reputation due to goofing off.

You may even find that your current job will hear about this. You will be successful if you would like to succeed. Make a habit out of showing up for work early. You never know what might get in your way on the prior shift. This will allow you to be on time every time, a trait that is valuable yet surprisingly difficult to find. Keep in mind a resume represents only one thing you need to impress with. It must be updated and fresh. The resume alone wont determine your eligibility for the puzzle.
